課程概述 |
This Sophomore writing course will focus on developing students' advanced skills in writing academic essays of five genres in the textbook. Students will practice each of these writing types through completing genre-based assignments. Students will also practice writing about research and using citations through a secondary research. To guide students in becoming an independent learner and writer, a self-learning log exercise will be assigned. |

By the end of this course, students will be able to (1) produce various writing genres for different writing purposes; (2) sharpen their critical inquiry skills through academic writing; (3) develop basic skills in research writing, and (4) document self-learning log for writing practices. |
